Waterleau announcing New Shareholder

Waterleau Group NV has successfully executed an important capital increase which secures the ambitious plans of the company for the future. With this transaction, the Belgian family-owned environmental company Group Machiels becomes 51% shareholder of Waterleau Group.

The other shares remain in the hands of the founding partners, the Vriens family as well as the management. Group Machiels and Waterleau share the same vision on protecting the blue planet and embracing the circular economy.

Waterleau holds an enviable record in wastewater treatment, water production as well as water reuse. The company also acquired expertise in air purification, biogas production as well as energy recovery.
