Burger King banishes two Manhattan sites over value menu dispute

Have it your way - you're out of business. That's the message from Burger King to the owners of two midtown franchises who have been embroiled in a food fight with the company over the restaurant chain's value menu. Luan Sadik and his sister, Elizabeth Sadik, charge in court papers that BK's 99-cent menu and the more recent dollar value menu were forced down their throats. They said they were required to sell food at "rock-bottom prices"that didn't keep pace with the escalating cost of rent and other expenses in pricey Manhattan.
