As a result of attending the regional Mashed Potato Seminar in Singapore in October 2012, the chef from the Royale Chulan Hotel, a five-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, introduced a “Mashed Potato with Truffle Oil” on the hotel’s café menu as a new item.
The chef found this seminar very educational, and he liked the idea and taste of serving mashed potatoes made from US dehy in his café.
The idea of using Truffle Oil was something he picked up at the seminar and decided to introduce in his café.
The customer response for this product has been very positive.
According to the chef, he is also planning to introduce a few other items featuring mashed potatoes in his hotel café and which is now offering mashed potatoes using US dehy on its banquet menu.
