Uniq puts (potato) salad manufacturer Johma up for sale
Marzo 16, 2009
Potato Salad manufacturer Johma is put up for sale by its British owner, Uniq. Stamford Partners was asked to investigate opportunities for joint ventures or sales of all Uniq's activities in Northern Europe.

Uniq, profiling itself as the European chilled convenience food group, wants to focus entirely on the British market in an attempt to reverse slowing sales and mounting losses (last year 61 million euro).
Uniq is also investigating the sale of its activities in France.

Since Johma was sold by its founder Johan Schreur in 1984, ownership of the company has changed three times. Johma employs 280 people.
