Lutosa (Warengem)

Lutosa has a production site on Schoendalestraat 221, 8793 Waregem, Belgium. 

This facility specializes in the production of frozen potato products such as French fries and other delicacies. In March 2025, Lutosa announced a €225 million investment to expand and sustain the Waregem factory. 

The planned upgrades include a new frying line, an extension of the flaking line, the construction of a new potato reception and sorting station, and an updated wastewater treatment plant with the goal of achieving 85% water reuse and reducing energy usage by more than 25%. 

Lutosa, a Belgian frozen potato company, is owned by the Canadian multinational McCain.
