Lamb Weston Ulanqab, is a new production facility of Lamb Weston Holdings Inc in Inner Mongolia, China.
Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. has expanded its activities in China, establishing a new processing facility in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, well regarded as China's Potato Capital. This factory can produce 250 million pounds of frozen potato products each year, increasing the company's ability to fulfill regional demand. Since 2014, Lamb Weston has run a production facility in Shangdu, Inner Mongolia, and has a sales office in Shanghai.
The Ulanqab factory uses cutting-edge equipment to assure staff safety, food quality, and sustainability. The $250 million investment has created more than 240 local jobs.This initiative is consistent with Lamb Weston's objective to encourage growth in the Chinese market.
