Synplants is a farmers cooperative in Luxembourg growing and selling over 35 different varieties of seed potatoes. Synplants exports seed potatoes to 20+ countries in Europe, Africa and Asia.The most important export varieties include Spunta, Hermes, Lady Rosetta, Agria Cara and Marfona. The climate is harsh in the north of Luxembourg, there these varieties produce an increased number of tubers when temperatures are mild in the table potato growing areas.
