Burts Potato Chips' Nick Hurst, who recently sold his majority stake in the business, has said the company can "go from strength to strength"following the sale.
Plymouth-headquartered Burts and Poole-based C4L were announced as regional winners of the HSBC's Business Thinking initative. Both companies are set to be awarded up to £6m in lending plus a financial reward of up to £120,000 each.
Hurst said: "The company is continuing to grow and go from strength to strength. We want to become the premium crisp manufacturer in the UK.
