Burts eyes expansion as Hurst cashes in his chips

Burts Potato Chips' Nick Hurst, who recently sold his majority stake in the business, has said the company can "go from strength to strength"following the sale.
Plymouth-headquartered Burts and Poole-based C4L were announced as regional winners of the HSBC's Business Thinking initative. Both companies are set to be awarded up to £6m in lending plus a financial reward of up to £120,000 each.
Hurst said: "The company is continuing to grow and go from strength to strength. We want to become the premium crisp manufacturer in the UK.
