Pringles set to spice up UK snack sales
Pringles is adding another exotic variant to its repertoire of consumer favourites. Pringles Thai Sweet Chilli will be available in a 165g can from 11th January 2010.
Thai Sweet Chilli is a hugely popular flavour that is currently growing value share of the crisps and snacks category and this trend is set to continue with the launch of Pringles Thai Sweet Chilli.
The launch will be supported in store with specific point of sale that carries the strap line "Fall in love with new Pringles Thai Sweet Chilli."
Pringles remains the UK's No.1 large sharing snacks brand, and has experienced volume increase over the last year as the UK crisps and snacks category continues to boom.
The category as a whole is now worth a massive £2bn in value sales, with large sharing sales in particular showing steady growth in the UK (value has increased by £30m in the last year).
