McCain Superfries voted #1 by Canadian Families

McCain Superfries® brand has been voted #1 by Canadian families in the Second Annual Canadian Family 2010 Food Awards. McCain Superfries brand was ranked first in the “Frozen French fries and potatoes” category, confirming the popularity and preference of this long-standing favourite.

Canadian Family Magazine hosted the contest and close to 6,000 readers submitted votes for their favourite foods in 53 different categories ranging from cereal to spices and from entrees to frozen foods.

“We are thrilled that our Superfries brand has been recognized as a favorite by our Canadians consumers,” said Darryl Rowe, President of McCain Foods (Canada). “It is a great honour for all of our employees because at McCain, it really is about working and growing together as a team.”
