Fruit Logistica 2015 attracted a record number of 65.000 trade visitors, up from 62.000 in 2014.

FRUIT LOGISTICA 2015 will be the global fresh produce sector's most significant and comprehensive industry event ever. There will be a total of 2,750 exhibitors from 83 countries – 150 more exhibitors than last year.

Europatat, the European Potato Trade Association, and DKHV, the German Potato Trading Association (Deutscher Kartoffelhandelsverband), are pleased to announce the dates for the annual Europatat Congress, that this year will take place in Düsseldorf (Germany) from 7 to 9 May 2015.

Fruit Logistica sees record participation with more than 62,000 trade visitors from 141 countries

At the 2014 Fruit Logistica event, being held in Berlin from 5-7 February, DuPont Food Chain Manager for the EMEA region, Mr Luigi Coffano, highlighted the challenges faced by a world population that is growing by 150,000 people every day.

Some 58,000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries are expected to visit over 2,600 exhibitors from 84 countries at the Fruit Logistica in Berlin.

Germany's first straw-fired heating plant will soon be commissioned in Emlichheim. Burning approximately 60,000 metric tons of straw per year, it will supply heat to Emsland-Stärke GmbH, public facilities and private households.
