The European Snacks Association (ESA) has announced the next edition of its Savoury Snacks Production Course 1, set to take place from June 2 to June 4, 2025, in Budapest, Hungary.

EnWave Corporation announced that it has received a signed purchase agreement from Fungaria Snack Ltd. ("Fungaria") for a 10kW Radiant Energy Vacuum ("REV™") dehydration machine to be located at their production facility in Budapest, Hungary.

Potato growers in Hungary are in a tough position as potato prices are low. On top of that, yield has been negatively affected by heat and quality is far from optimal.

According to information from the press office of the Agricultural Ministry, a new mandatory labelling regulation applies, starting September, to all potatoes sold in Hungary, whether packaged or sold in bulk.
