Potato cooperative Agrico has celebrated the start of the construction work of its 'Quality Centre' to monitor the quality and vitality of its potato varieties.

Avebe's Innovation Centre reached its highest point early December. The new premises will be housing the Innovations, Sales and Marketing departments. Space will also be made for start-ups in the agrofood sector under the name: Innolab Biobased Economy.

Pulsemaster BV uit Bladel introduceert een opmerkelijk effectief nieuw Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) batch systeem op pilot schaal onder de merknaam Solidus. Dit systeem kan worden ingezet voor het bepalen van de effecten van PEF op hele aardappelen voor het maken van frites, chips en aardappelspecialiteiten.

Per 1 augustus 2016 is de heer Gerard ten Bolscher (48 jaar) in dienst getreden bij Avebe als Managing Director R&D en lid van het Executive Committee.
