Alanis is a new variety especially produced to have good drought and heat tolerance. The tubers are large with fluffy flesh when cooked, good for baking and chipping. The high yields and good storage qualities are a bonus too. Due to the excellent tolerance against Phytophthora infestans Alanis is suitable for the organic cultivation.
