Beirut Erbil For Potato Products Company won the award for the Best Iraqi Snacks Product at the National Iraqi Trade Forum

Beirut Erbil For Potato Products Company has achieved a new milestone, adding to its list of accomplishments, by winning the award for the Best Iraqi Snacks Product at the National Iraqi Trade Forum (INTF). 

The forum, organized by the International Trade Centre with the support of the European Union, took place during the second National Iraqi Trade Forum from February 19 to 20, 2024, at the Babylon Rotana Hotel in Baghdad. 

During the Iraqi National Trade Forum funded by the EU, a new potato sector development strategy was launched under leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture together with the International Finance Center (ITC). 

Deputy ambassador Laetita van Asch gave a keynote speech emphasising the importance of have such a harmonious strategy to rely on. The strategy will boost development, job creation, and attract investment opportunities.

The event featured high-level sessions, practical workshops, and direct business-to-business (B2B) meetings. Beirut Erbil stood out with its innovative natural potato chips, securing the prestigious title of the Best Iraqi Snacks Product. 

The exhibition's theme, in which Beirut Erbil participated, centered around "By Iraqi Hands," showcasing innovative companies from various provinces across Iraq
