The taste of innovation

During the Taste of Innovation Tour through the building locations were visited where new food products are conceived, made and tasted. The Prince bottled the first bottle of the world's favourite ketchup in the pilot plant. On the innovation menu presented to Willem-Alexander was also a real "King Soup". This is a twist on the traditional Dutch soup, called "Koninginnesoep"(Queen Soup).

The heart in the right place

The Innovation Center is Heinz largest R &D facility outside the United States, and is close to the European ketchup and sauces factory (Elst Gld) and is located in the heart of the Dutch "Food &Health Valley". The region is known as the European knowledge center in the field of nutrition and health. With the realization of the R &D center HJ Heinz increases growth prospects for its European and traditional Dutch brand and lays a solid foundation for the future. The Innovation Centre provides a state of the art research and development environment, an ultra-modern microbiological lab and a sensory center for consumer panels.

Creativity through integration in a unique building

The Heinz Innovation Center building, named 57, is unique in the field of architecture, sustainability and technology. The design and construction is to create an inspiring, people-friendly and entrepreneurial work environment where all disciplines can work together within Heinz in a pleasant way and interaction and stimulate innovation.
