Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation (GAIC) is looking for private partnership for a potato dehydration plant. GAIC is going to set up its first potato dehydration plant at Deesa in Palanpur town with a handling capacity of 500 kg per hour.
“A potato dehydration centre has been planned for Deesa near Palanpur, the potato hub of state. As a government agency, it is difficult to maintain and look after all the issues so we have decided to go for public private partnership (PPP) for potato dehydration plant at Deesa. We are looking for good private partner who can manage the plant,” said N K Singh, managing director, GAIC.
