Allergy Alert - Undeclared milk in certain Orion brand Italian Gratin flavoured Italian potato chips

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Fukuda Trading Co. Ltd. are warning people with allergies to milk not to consume certain Orion brand Italian Gratin flavoured Italian potato chips, listed below.

The affected products contain milk which is not declared on the label.

These products have been distributed in British Columbia and Alberta and may have been distributed in other provinces as well.

There has been one reported illness associated with the consumption of these products.

Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.

The importer, Fukuda Trading Co. Ltd., Richmond, British Columbia, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
