Will Chase saves 'Love Chips' website from closure

The website run by the marketing department of the Potato Council, which was one of 820 websites expected to be closed by a Government review has been saved by William Chase, owner of Chase Vodka.
The website was to be closed as part of the review by the Government which will see 75% of Government websites closed as part of public sector cost cutting measures, which could save almost £100 million a year.
Potato entrepreneur and owner of Chase Vodka, William Chase has stepped in with the money to keep the lovechips website open.
Chase said that he felt that potato growers were always the last in line when it comes to handing out help.
