PEI potato farmers optimistic about potato prices
Prince Edward Island's potato harvest is almost complete for the year and producers in the province say they're optimistic about prices.
Boyd Rose, the chair of the P.E.I. Potato Board, said poor growing conditions in other large potato producing areas, such as Idaho and Russia, should mean a high demand for the province's crop.
"There shouldn't be any reason why we shouldn't get a good price. We just have to try and work together and work with the other regions,"Rose told CBC News.
