April 14, 2025

Global Potato Summit (GPS) has announced the company's Strategic Partnership with PotatoEurope, Netherlands 2025โ€”a step that strengthens the growing synergy between India and the Netherlands in the potato value chain. With shared expertise in seed potatoes, agri-tech, and trade, this collaboration highlights the evolving relationship between the two countries.

India, already among the worldโ€™s top potato producers, is fast emerging as a global hubโ€”driven by diverse climates, a strong farmer base, and rising investments in storage, processing, and exports.

Dutch expertise in seed technology and sustainable practices complements Indiaโ€™s growing production and demand for high-quality inputs, opening new doors for bilateral trade, technology exchange, and long-term collaboration across the potato value chain.

PotatoEurope is an international event exclusively dedicated to the entire value chain of potatoes. Each year, The event takes place in one of the four partner countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France. The next edition will be held on 3 and 4 September 2025 at the location of Wageningen University & Research (WUR), Field Crops in Lelystad, the Netherlands.

As one of the worldโ€™s most dynamic potato platforms, Potato Europe 2025 offers a unique space for global networking opportunities and future joint ventures.
