Latfood begins export of potato chips to Lithuania and Estonia

Latfood, the company behind Latvia's most popular potato chips "Adazu cipsi", has begun production for its new export brand entitled "Taffel", which will offer "San Trope"potato chips on the Lithuanian and Estonian markets, the business portal Nozare.lv was informed by representatives of the company.
"At present the company exports 48% of its production. The activities of 'Latfood' are directed towards development, and so we are continuing to work for growth in both the domestic and export markets, offering an ever greater range of products,"indicated the company's Chairman Valdis Blums, who also stressed that, according to research on consumer and market trends, each country has its own taste preferences mainly based on national customs and cultural specifics.
