Malaysia: 50 more Burger King outlets expected to open in 5 years

Cosmo Restaurants Sdn Bhd, which holds the franchise for Burger King restaurants in Malaysia, plans to open 50 more outlets in the next five years. 

Director of operations Khaled Hamman said the company was finalising its business expansion plan. 

“We have 21 outlets in the country and we are looking at a five-year business plan and targeting 50 new outlets during the period,” he told reporters after the opening of a Burger King outlet at the Petronas Taman Tasik service station here on Saturday.
