Sormac Unveils Cutting-Edge Innovations at Fruit Logistica 2025

Sormac, a leading technology manufacturer for the fresh produce processing proudly debuts four cutting-edge innovations at their stand C-40 in hall 1.1 at Fruit Logistica 2025, Feb 5th – 7th in Berlin, Germany. In addition, Sormac will showcase technology upgrades and a wide range of its trusted equipment for the processing of carrots, onions, peppers, melons and many more.
Sormac presents the fully automatic, robot-assisted PepperCorer PCR and the versatile DC-145 cube cutter. Both are designed to meet high hygiene standards, reduce labor costs, and enable top-notch product quality. The PepperCorer Robotic automatically separates the peppers, visually detects the product position and picks up the peppers with the help of a robotic arm to place them in the grippers of the seeding and cutting station. Optionally, the peppers can also be cut into strips, rings, corners or cubes. The PepperCorer Robotic has an output of up to 2,500 pieces per hour.

With the new DC-145 three-dimensional cube cutter, Sormac is expanding its range in the field of cutting. The machine is versatile, easy to operate and offers high-precision cutting quality. It allows you to cut cubes, sticks and slices of different sizes. With a drum diameter of 400 mm, the machine offers the largest drum in its class. Thanks to the touchscreen HMI, the operator can change the wheel thickness digitally with high accuracy and without mechanical adjustments. Depending on the application, the new dice cutter offers an output of up to 6,000 kg per hour.

In addition, the company will be showcasing two imaging solutions: OptiView, a hygienic camera system that enables real-time monitoring and video recording at critical points in production. OptiPro is a processing equipment automation system that checks whether the processed product meets the specified settings. Both solutions contribute to improved process control, higher productivity and faster troubleshooting.
At the show, visitors will also be able to see the recently revised FC-540 vertical vegetable centrifuge and the improved FS-3600 MultiSystem punching machine.
