Lamb Weston Meijer wants to increase its stake in Belaya Dacha's Lipetsk plant

The leadership of the Dutch company Lamb Weston Meijer, LWM CIS B.V., asked the Federal Antimonopoly Service to give it preliminary consent to acquire 39,38% of LLC Lamb Weston Belaya Dacha.

This is stated in the message of the service. According to Vedomosti (Russian newspaper), it says that, if the deal takes place, then its share in this company will increase to 74,5%.

Lamb Weston Belaya Dacha is a project of Lamb Weston Meijer and Belaya Dacha holding. The latter, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, now owns 64,5% of the shares in it.

Lamb Weston Belaya Dacha owns a French fries plant located in the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone. The enterprise started working in 2018, its capacity is 100 thousand tons of products per year.
