The Inca’s in Peru once discovered the potato as an eatable root. In fact, all potatoes sprout from one wild plant species originating from the southern part of Peru.

Today, we are familiar with many potato types and tastes by a natural crossing of different potato varieties.

Amongst others the potatoes of Mama Chunu, which have naturally special nutritional properties.

The ‘Mama Chunu Original' is full of flavor and contains a naturally elevated level of antioxidants in order to protect the human body. The potatoes can be recognized by their deep yellow flesh color.

The ‘Mama Chunu – Slim’ variant naturally contains 30% fewer calories and is expected on the market after this growing season.

‘Mama Chunu - Vit+’ helps to maintain your resistance, because this potato is naturally rich in Vitamin C. Based on the results of the field trials, the 'Vit+’ is expected to be available during the year 2012.
