Indra Nooyi headed the Financial Times Top 50 Women in World Business for 2nd year

Pepsico CEO Indra Nooyi topped a list of leading women in world business, including Andrea Jung of Avon Products and Irene Rosenfeld of Kraft Foods.

Women at the Top was set up by the Financial Times to analyse female business leadership and encourage women to aspire to the top jobs. By highlighting female executives' work the FT hope to inspire other ambitious women to overcome the challenges to reaching the top in their chosen area.

The Top 50 Women in World Business is selected by an expert panel who look at factors such as: biographical data;size, scope and complexity of the company (including turnover and number of employees, number of sectors and countries of operation);and the competitive landscape.

Indra Nooyi was also rated one of the most influential women in the world over the last ten years by FT writers and editors.
