Same-store sales at Wendy's International Inc. have increased again, but the company's third-quarter results show a drastic slowdown in growth after a first-quarter jump-start.
The Dublin-based fast-food chain said sales at company-owned U.S. restaurants opened at least a year during the third quarter ended Sept. 30 grew 0.2 percent compared with the third quarter of 2006. Franchised restaurants saw 1.3 percent same-store sales growth during the quarter.
