Pakistan Potato Prices go up

Despite the assurances by the government, the price of potatoes in Pakistan has increased.

According to reports, the potato price has risen up to Rs80 per kg in Lahore, Rs 70kg in Karachi and Rs 60kg in Islamabad. The people expressed their unhappiness over the increase in the price, saying that the government has failed in providing relief to the common people. Finance minister Ishaq Dar had vowed to take steps for reduction in price of potatoes.
