Manter International bv, manufacturer of weighing- and packaging equipment in Emmen, The Netherlands, is introducing conveyor belts instead of vibrating lanes into their latest weighing range.
The advantage of conveyor belts is that the unwashed and/or uncleaned products are guaranteed to flow better through the weigher. Therefore your weighing process will not slow down because of dirt building up into the weighing system.
As most products from the fruit and vegetable sector are cleaned before weighing, the conveyor belts are optional. Standard Manter weighers are still fitted with maintenance-free vibrating lanes.
