The Domnick Hunter Industrial Division of Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies will showcase its latest at this year’s Snackex exhibition with a fully working nitrogen gas generator system – CO2 mixing station.
The demonstration will show visitors how in-situ food-grade nitrogen and mixed gas can be produced from a standard compressed air supply, safely, easily and cost-effectively.
The latest MIDIGAS and successful MAXIGAS systems are suitable for small to medium and medium to large nitrogen requirements respectively and are alternatives to traditional nitrogen sources for a wide range of applications in the food and beverage industry such as MAP (modified atmosphere packaging), pressure transfer and blanketing of foodstuffs and raw materials.

The generators remove the need for a cylinder supply thus eliminate associated costs such as refill and hire charges, in addition to admin, delivery and transportation.
Additionally, the generators provide isolation from rising gas prices.
Phil Green, Product Manager at Parker domnick hunter, comments ‘We’re excited to be exhibiting at the forthcoming show and are confident visitors to our stand will be impressed with the system. We’re sure visitors will embrace the many benefits of generating their own nitrogen via MIDIGAS and MAXIGAS rather than purchasing their supply.’
In addition to food-grade nitrogen, Parker domnick hunter also offers the industry a host of additional solutions. Pre-treatment products such as food-grade compressed air equivalent to ISO 8573-1:2001 include OIL-X EVOLUTION compressed air filters and PNEUDRI dryers, and polishing solutions which ensure beverage-grade carbon dioxide remains within specification are available. Comprehensive preventative maintenance contracts via a dedicated global aftermarket network provide complete peace of mind.
