KFC recieves Halaal certification in Sri Lanka

In Sri Lanka, KFC has also acquired the Halaal stamp for its full menu including its popular KFC Biriyani, KFC Kottu and KFC Chinese Chicken Rice.

The Halaal accreditation was received from the All Ceylon Jamithul Ulama (ACJU) which is the only statutory accreditation body for Halaal foods in Sri Lanka. According to the standard practice of ACJU’s inspection process, the verification of the source of every single ingredient which goes into the making of each product sold under the KFC brand was stringently carried out to the satisfactory of the Halaal Certification body. All product ranged were found to be fully compliant.
