Polish Seed Trade Association – PIN – , the only chamber of commerce in the seed industry in Poland. The origins of the formation date back to the 90s of the twentieth century, and currently there are 95 national and foreign affiliates, having the majority share of the market for agricultural, vegetable and ornamental seeds.
PIN members are breeders, seed-producing companies, and distributors of seed and propagating material. Companies are working together to develop and implement biological progress into agricultural practice.
Within the structures of the Polish Seed Trade Association, the potato section brings together breeders, producers of potato propagating material, ware potato producers and companies concentrated around potato production. PIN brings together over 90% of seed potato production in Poland and a large part of consumption and processing potato production.
