McCain Foods South Africa has appointed Unathi Mhlatyana as its new managing director (MD) effective yesterday. Mhlatyana brings more than 20 years experience in the FMCG industry, having previously been employed in leadership roles with Pepsico and SAB/AB InBev.

McCain Foods South Africa claims in this advert that it produces the country's 'number one' chip. However, the Advertising Regulatory Board (ARB) told them to remove the ads with immediate effect because the claim is simply not true.

Dewulf, specialist in harvesting technology of potatoes and carrots, introduced its first potato harvester in South-Africa earlier this year.

A key element of the McCain rebranding exercise is the new design packaging, which is being introduced into the market.
