Proposed organizational structure for the combined company JBT and Marel

John Bean Technologies Corporation (JBT) has initiated a voluntary takeover offer to acquire all issued and outstanding shares of Marel hf. (Marel). Although a formal approval of the takeover is still pending, a blueprint of the future organisational structure for the combined company has already been released.

First Icelandic Potatoes Arrive in Stores

The first potatoes from this year’s harvest have arrived in grocery stores across the country. Nóatún received the first shipment from Eyrarbakki, southwest Iceland, this week, and according to the store’s quality controller, the potatoes look good.
