The Tummers KW Rock Trap Washer is used for de-stoning, washing and floating debris removal from tuberous and bulb-shaped products.
The standard unit is manufactured with a simple robust design. The product can be washed and de-stoned under an adjustable water level.
Depending on the needs of the customer, the water level can be lowered, and the retention gate position adjusted to increase the aggressiveness of the washing action.
A fresh-water spray bar on the product dewatering belt ensures a final rinse of the product prior to leaving the machine.
The KW is designed with a fully automated adjustable water level along with automatic purging drain valves (requires controls option).
The wash drum is suspended by two low-maintenance belt towers with the rotating drives placed above the water level.
