Now in its 6th year, POTATO EXPO is the largest conference and tradeshow for the potato industry held in North America. POTATO EXPO offers educational programming covering the top issues facing the potato industry, provides countless networking opportunities with key decision makers, and showcases the latest products and services for potato production and distribution.

POTATO EXPO includes numerous breakout sessions featuring experts from the potato industry, agriculture, and academic communities who discuss the latest trends, research, and issues facing the fresh, chip, process, and seed sectors.

In 2013, POTATO EXPO attracted a record-breaking 1,901 attendees and 149 exhibitors to Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. Building off last year's success, POTATO EXPO 2014 in San Antonio promises to be the best event in EXPO history.

National Potato Council Leadership for 2014 elected

At the National Potato Council’s (NPC) 2014 Annual Meeting, held January 10-11, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas, Randy Hardy from Hardy Farms in Oakley, Idaho, was elected to serve as NPC’s president for 2014 and to lead the council’s Executive Committee.

Bayer CropScience survey at Potato Expo digs up Potato Industry needs for 2014

According to United States Department of Agriculture’s crop production predictions, average potato yield per acre increased during the 2013 season.

In an effort to propel this upward trend into the New Year, Bayer CropScience launched its Potato Perspectives Survey during Potato Expo in San Antonio, Texas, Jan. 8-10, 2014.
