At the Agritechnica, The Tolsma-Grisnich Group presents several innovations of its Vision Control climate computer for (potato) storage.
Tolsma-Grisnich show storage innovation at Agritechnica
From the 8th to the 14th of November, Agritechnica in Hanover will be a must for anyone interested in global innovations in mechanisation.
Tolsma-Grisnich (Hall 24, stand A10) is a regular exhibitor at this fair.
In addition to new modules for our Vision Control storage computer (Energy Management and Weather in Control) Tolsma-Grisnich will be showcasing the Samro stone and clod separator, its in-house developed Track & Trace system for box storage, the Fresh Box, and its innovative washing installations.
Vision Control innovations
Tolsma-Grisnich's user-friendly Vision Control climate computer was designed to control the climate in storage facilities for potatoes, onions, carrots etc. Within this process, the Vision Control system regulates, among other things, fans, hatches, mechanical cooling units and stoves on the basis of measured temperature, RH and CO2.
This means control is totally focused on product quality and optimum storage efficiency.
Vision Control: Energy management
Vision Control: Energy Management Extension
The Energy Management module on the new generation Vision Control storage computers from Tolsma-Grisnich enables optimum alignment of energy supply and demand within a business.
This makes it possible to make significant savings on both fixed (connection and standing charges) and variable costs.
Vision Control: Weather in Control extension
Vision Control: Weather in Control module
This is advantageous in terms of storage efficiency (higher quality, lower energy costs).
Vision Control: Industry 4.0
The Energy Management and Weather in Control modules fall within Industry 4.0.Based on this innovative vision, an intelligent combination of all available data is used within the Vision Control system for storage control.
In terms of product storage these data are:
- prognosis of progress (temperature and humidity) in the batch stored
- current weather forecast
- expected energy yield and needs of the business
TG Samro stone and clod separator
Tolsma Grisnich Samro Stone and Clod Separator
You will be able to watch live demonstrations of this machine at Agritechnica. Based on simple sensor technology, the machine separates stones and clods from a dry product flow.
The TG Samro can either be used as a stand-alone unit or as part of a comprehensive processing line.
Tolsma Track & Trace
Easily locate and keep track of any box in box storage with Tolsma Track and Trace
This provides a unique overview of storage as well as optimising business management and ensuring hygiene within the business. Track & Trace uses automated box registration and is suitable for box storage and grading businesses. In addition, Track & Trace makes for a significant labour saving.
The benefits of Track & Trace are obvious: increased efficiency of the logistic process, less time-consuming administration and savings on operational costs because human error is avoided.
Tolsma Fresh Box
Tolsma Fresh Box
The Fresh Box controls the fully automatic intake of warm fresh air from outside to the interior, the air is cooled and CO2 is removed to the outside.
This means that air is refreshed in an energy-efficient manner and temperature differences are kept to a minimum.
TG innovative washing installations
Tolsma-Grisnich Wet Cleaning Technology
Tolsma-Grisnich provides a wide range of machines for the cleaning and drying of agricultural products.
The machines feature intelligent sensor technology and control techniques for reduced energy and water consumption.
Box handling systems
The TG Automatic Box filler-18 is capable of stacking, de-stacking and filling empty boxes fully automatically.Tolsma-Grisnich offers also the automatic box emptying system, which can automatically de-stack and empty filled boxes as well as re-stacking the empty boxes.
The box handling systems reduce the number of forklift truck movements by 40% and result in a significant saving in workload.
