Monday morning (November 2, 2015) around 8:50 A.M..a fire broke out at the Kettle Foods Potato Chip Factory in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Arriving fire crews saw smoke from the roof and exhaust stack of the factory, with all employees in the plant able to get out safely. Firefighters on the scene called in help from nearby fire departments, but had the fire under control within 30 miniutes.

Beloit Fire Department Deputy Chief Joseph Murray said the structure was not damaged, with the fire contained to a centrifugal cooking vat.

Fire officials said the fire caused about USD 170.000 damage in contents.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
