Key Technology Appoints Steve Johnson as Senior Director Latin America and Asia Sales
六月 25, 2014
Key Technology announces the appointment of Steve Johnson to the position of Senior Director Latin America and Asia Sales. Johnson is responsible for managing Key’s sales activities in the Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Australia/New Zealand regions to bring the company’s digital sorters, conveyors, and process automation systems to food processors and other manufacturers.

“These InterContinental regions have always been very important to Key. Now, we have a tremendous opportunity to expand in these growing regions because we have a wider variety of solutions, including the most complete source of belt- and chute-fed sorting technologies, as a result of our merger with Visys last year. Many of our new sorters like Taurys™ and Cayman® BioPrint® are ideal for food processors in these areas,” said Steve Pellegrino, Senior Vice President of Global Sales. “Steve Johnson brings strong market intelligence to his new position. He is a terrific resource for our customers and a valuable asset to our team.”

Johnson has been with Key for nine years. Most recently, he was Senior Director of Marketing and will retain responsibility for leading the company’s worldwide marketing activities. While he continues in that capacity, a sizable portion of those responsibilities have been shifted to others at Key, enabling Johnson to devote significant energy toward managing the direct sales teams and sales representatives in Latin America and Asia. Johnson brings 25 years of leadership experience to his position. Prior to joining Key, he was Vice President and General Manager for Gordon Composites. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Weber State University.

“Key is a global leader of innovative technologies with world-class service and deep application expertise that helps customers increase their production efficiencies and profits. We have a strong foundation in the Latin America and Asia regions, and I am excited to help build that momentum,” said Steve Johnson. “With the single most complete source of high performance digital sorting, conveying, and process automation technologies, we’re able to provide the perfect system for each application and offer complete solutions.”
