Bannisters’ Farm continues to innovate in the frozen food category with the addition of two new product ranges: Fully Loaded Jackets and Farmer’s Roasting Potatoes.

Launching this October, the two new ranges offer unique propositions to frozen cabinets, with listings already secured with retailers including Tesco, Tesco Express and Nisa.

Bannisters’ Farm Fully Loaded Jacket Potatoes

Aimed at the convenience market, these traditionally baked potatoes come in individual portion sizes, with the choice of five tasty fillings. Tesco Express will be the first multiple to stock Fully Loaded Jackets with two variants launching in over 1000 stores from 7 October. This will be followed by the launch of four of the variants in Nisa stores from 27 October.

Zoe Bannister, Commercial Director, explains, “We are delighted to introduce these new products into the Bannisters’ Farm range and the Fully Loaded Jackets offer an interesting proposition in the frozen food category. They are a quick and convenient lunchtime or dinner option and can be cooked in minutes in the microwave. Our Bannisters’ Farm mission is to produce the tastiest baked potatoes on the market and our aim has always been to produce good food that fits in with the requirements of busy modern life. This is good wholesome food when you need it fast.”

Bannisters’ Farm Fully Loaded Jacket Potatoes have been launched in a sub-range comprising of five delicious recipes Chicken Tikka, Chicken and Mushroom, Broccoli and Cauliflower Cheese, Cheese and Beans and Mature Cheddar Cheese. They use British Chicken and British Cheese and are traditionally oven baked using only British potatoes.

Bannisters’ Farm Farmers’ Roasting Potatoes

Last week, Bannisters’ Farm also introduced another pioneering product to the range - Bannisters’ Farm Farmer’s Roasting Potatoes, which have secured listings in Tesco stores nationwide.

Unlike other frozen roast potatoes, Bannisters’ Farm roasting potatoes aren’t fried or battered and nor do they contain lots of ingredients;they are prepared exactly as if prepared from home, simply tossed in rapeseed oil and perfectly seasoned. Rob Bannister, founder, like most farmers detests waste, so when he came up with this concept, the team named them Farmer’s Roasting Potatoes as a nod to him.

“These roasting potatoes fly in the face of tradition;in these times of waste-watching, we began to wonder why we were scraping the best bits off our roasting potatoes, so for this product, we’ve decided to keep the skins on which means that they really are extra tasty.”
