The UK-based Tyrrells Potato Crisps is embarking on an expansion drive in India with plans to partner with hotel chains and increase its presence in modern retail trade outlets.
The firm that has been present in India for the last three years is aiming to double its revenues to one million pounds in the country by next year.
“Our current revenues in India is about half a million pounds and next year we want to double it,” according to Tyrrells Potato Crisps CEO, Mr David Milner.
The company said 20 per cent of its business in India comes from big hotel chains.
Tyrrell's Potato Crisps currently imports the products sold in India from the United Kingdom. The Johar Group is its Indian importer and distributor.
