Alexandra Imhof promoted to US Potato Board Industry Communications & Policy Manager

The United States Potato Board (USPB) is pleased to announce the promotion of Alexandra Imhof to the position of USPB Industry Communications &Policy Manager, effective July 1, 2012. She has been with the USPB since August 2003, when she was hired in the Finance Department. In October 2006, she transferred into the newly created Industry Communications &Policy (ICP) Department

Imhof thrives on new challenges and professional growth. She is an administrator of the USPB’s database and works to keep this important technological resource functional and relevant. Her past experience at the USPB also entails managing the USPB’s participation in all trade shows and also managing the logistics for the Potato Industry Leadership Instituted (PILI) with the NPC.

With her promotion to manager, Imhof will be undertaking the added responsibilities of maintaining the USPB’s website and the creation and delivery of the USPB’s e-newsletters to the industry.

Regarding Imhof’s promotion, USPB Industry Communications &Policy Vice President David Fraser said, “Alex has been an integral team member from the beginning of the USPB ICP Department. Her past duties, coupled with her newly expanded role in managing all ICP electronic communications, including the industry website, www.uspotatoes.com, and our e-newsletters, Industry Update and Fresh Grower-Shipper Update, not to mention leading the upgrade to and ongoing maintenance of the USPB Grower Database, mean Alex will continue to play a very key role in our ongoing efforts to make our industry communications even more effective and efficient..”
