Potato Europe 2011 underway

Today, the annual European potato event Potato Europe started in Tournai (Kain) in Belgium.

This international event for potato professionals alternates between the countries Belgium, Germany, France and The Netherlands.

PotatoEurope 2011 in Belgium will include the usual ingredients: demonstration on the ground of potato harvesters, loading equipment, planters and more, an exhibition representing the international potato sector, field trial and variety fields and a study sessions program.

This way, the 2011 edition of PotatoEurope will, again, be the place to be for any person active in the potato sector, to acquire different kind of information, for lauching new products on the market, to tie contacts or to maintain them.

A total of 160 exhibitors expect around 7000 visitors.

Potato Europe is held on September 7 and 8.
