At the National Potato Council’s (NPC) 2011 Annual Meeting, held January 7-8 in Las Vegas, Justin Dagen of Karlstad, MN, was elected to lead the NPC as president in 2011.
In addition, the NPC Delegates approved Steve Crane of Exeter, Maine, to serve as vice president of Finance &Office Procedures and as First Vice President;Doug Hanks of St. Anthony, Idaho, to serve as the vice president of Environmental Affairs;Klaren Koompin of American Falls, Idaho, to serve as the vice president of Grower and Public Relations;Randy Mullen of Pasco, Washington, to serve as the vice president of Legislative and Government Affairs;and Randy Hardy of Oakley, Idaho, to serve as the vice president of Trade Affairs. Roger Mix of Center, Colorado, who served as the president in 2010, will continue to serve on the Executive Committee as the immediate past president.
