Something on the side from Aviko: Mash and gratins in a range of flavours

二月 27, 2009

Potato specialist Aviko has launched two new ranges which allow pubs to expand the accompaniments on offer with main courses.

The new range of individually frozen potato gratins used steamed potato slices combined with a creamy sauce. The 100g gratins keep their shape, even after a holding time of an hour.

The range includes five varieties - gratin with mushrooms;creamy gratin made with emmental cheese;gratin with broccoli;Italian gratin, made with herbs, tomato and mozzarella cheese;and gratin with smoked salmon.

The Super Mash range from Aviko is made with fresh butter and milk, and quick-frozen to ensure that all the flavour and vitamins are locked in.

Easily prepared in either a microwave or combi steamer, Super Mash is available in four varieties - with bubble and squeak;with butter and milk;with carrots and swede;and Super Mash homemade, which even has small lumps.
