McCain launches potato scholarship

McCain Foods has launched a new scholarship scheme for students at Askham Bryan College, York, who are studying degrees in any subject relating to potato production or processing.

As part of the sponsorship McCain is offering up to £5000 towards tuition and study costs, plus the chance of work placements, for research into potato farming, growing or processing. After graduation, there will be the opportunity of employment with the company.
