  • Durban, South Africa - 1997

  • Kunming, China - 2004
  • Boise, USA - 2006

The 7th World Potato Congress is scheduled for Christchurch, New Zealand, March 22-25, 2009.

Typically 500-800 delegates attend the World Potato Congress, an event that highlights developments in industry, economics, science and environment as they pertain to the international potato world.

Does your organization wish to consider hosting the world’s most recognized International Potato Congress? Would you like an opportunity to show the world what your region of the globe has to offer? Are you interested in submitting a complete prospectus? If you answered yes to all, or any, of these questions, you may want to contact The World Potato Congress for information and guidelines.

The World Potato Congress is now accepting “Expressions of Interest” from potato organizations internationally, that have an interest in hosting the 8th World Potato Congress.
