Troseed (Pvt) Ltd, formerly called Tropicalseed (Pvt) Ltd, is a major player in Sri Lanka's seed sector. Troseed specializes in importing high-quality vegetable seeds, seed potatoes, and hybrid corn seeds to meet the different needs of farmers.

The company provides a wide range of vegetable seed varieties, including leeks from Vilmorin Seed and hybrid cabbage, carrot, and radish from TAAKI in Japan. Troseed is also the official agent for Agrico, the world's largest seed potato cooperative headquartered in Holland, and Pioneer Seed, a leading worldwide hybrid corn seed firm owned by the Dupont Group.
